12 DAYS SAFARI & ZANZIBAR

After breakfast you will be driven to Tarangire National Park (180 kilometres from Arusha). On the way to Tarangire you will see a variety of plant life and vegetation such as the flat top acacia tree that is synonymous with African landscapes and the giant Baobab tree. After lunch you will do an afternoon game drive until the sunset.

Early the morning from 6 am, you will drive to Lake Manyara National Park through Iyambi gate for full day game drive. With some luck you will have the chance to spot leopards and other big animals. It is a favourite spot for the animals. At the end of the day, you will retire to Ngorongoro Area for dinner and overnight stay at the lodge, which is located about 15 minutes from the main gate.

After a nice breakfast we will drive you into the central part of the Serengeti National Park for two nights three days game drive. The Serengeti is a UNESCO World Heritage Centre that is one of the most famous national parks in the world. The Serengeti is home to the migration of massive numbers of Wildebeest and Zebra as they move into Kenya’s Masai Mara. The Serengeti is considered to be the best place in the world to see the magical lion up close, you will also see a great range of other wildlife.

Early in the morning after your coffee, we will pick up our picnic lunch and drive into the Ngorongoro Crater. Ngorongoro is a large volcanic caldera that is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to a huge variety of animals. As you descend into the crater there is the feeling of entering a truly special place. The landscape is a mixture of forest, lakes and wide-open plains that make it a perfect place for animal watching. Among the animals you can see here are black rhinoceros, lion, cheetah, hyena, jackal, hippos and many others. After a game drive you will have a picnic lunch at a site on the floor of the crater. After watching this amazing Area over these spectacular plains, you will head up through your Lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

We drive from Ngorongoro to Lake Eyasi. We arrive in the early afternoon. After lunch we go to visit different tribes and also go to a village to visit the fishermen. Later we go to the lake. The lake is full of birds. There you can have time near the lake waiting for sunset, walking around the lake before we return to the tented camp for dinner and accommodation.

In the morning we go for a hunt with another tribe called bushmen. These are the same bushmen like those from South of Africa. We spend almost three hours in the forest with this tribe, where you will see different types of trees and landscapes, also with a great view. Afterwards we return for lunch and then pick up our stuff ready to leave the Lake Eyasi and go to Mto wa Mbu to stay overnight at the Tented camp.

After breakfast a local guide will take you for the memorable village tour. This will give you the chance to experience the culture and region around the Mto wa Mbu village. The village offers us a traditional lunch and we will get the chance to taste one of the best local beers made from bananas. After lunch we will visit one of the Masai markets for shopping. Here you have a chance to mix with local people at the markets, bars and shops to experience the daily life of the local people around Mto wa Mbu. In the afternoon we transfer you to Arusha for your Domestic flight to Zanzibar.

It is possible to visit Stone Town by your own before to transfer to the coast. During these days you will get to experience the beach paradise that is Zanzibar. It is the perfect place for a honeymoon and is truly one of the most romantic places in the world. You will enjoy the beautiful warm breeze, the crystal-clear blue water and the long stretches of white sandy beach. You can rest in a hammock beneath palm trees, lie on the beach soaking up the sun or spend your days in the warm water. During your time here there are a variety of activities you can do, like snorkelling or diving to see the spectacularly coloured marine life. You might like to do a bike tour, a boat cruise, a walking tour through the local village or get a massage or henna tattoo from one of the local women. Whatever you decide to do, we are sure you will never want to leave.

Relax at the coast for last day, and around 10 am we will return to Stone Town for some last-minute souvenir shopping. At 13 hrs we will then be taken to the airport to get your International Flight back home.
