ARRIVAL-KILIMANJARO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

We will pick you up from Kilimanjaro Airport. Depend of you arriving time, you will either spend a night close to the Airport or drive direct to Tarangire National Park.

Tarangire National Park is a national park in Tanzania's Manyara Region. The name of the park originates from the Tarangire River that crosses the park. The Tarangire River is the primary source of fresh water for wild animals in the Tarangire Ecosystem during the annual dry season.

Schedule Details

DAY 1: ARUSHA TO TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK.
This day, you will have two game drives in the Tarangire National Park. Tarangire National Park offers great variety in both scenery and wildlife; it is particularly famous for its large herd of elephants which you will get to see up close and in amazing detail. A great variety of animals call this park home including Lions, Zebras, Giraffes, Warthogs, Antelope and many different species of bird life. If you keep an eye on the tree tops you may be lucky enough to see a leopard lounging there or a python wrapped around a tree branch. At the end of the day, you will be driven to your accommodation.
DAY 2: TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK - LAKE MANYARA
From Tarangire, you will be driven to Lake Manyara National Park where we will do a full day game drive to explore the beauty of Manyara National Park. The varieties of fauna and flora along with the geographical features of the Manyara national park both contributes for it to become one of the interesting national parks to visit and enjoy in order to comply with your expectations of seeing a famous tree climbing lions. The park is also famous for its elephant and huge number of baboons, and its varied landscape supports an impressive range of other game including wildebeest, buffalo, hippo, flamingo, zebra, warthog, waterbuck, dik-dik and impala.
DAY 03: LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK - NGORONGORO CRATER
Early in the morning you will drive to Ngorongoro Crater for a full day game drive inside the crater. Ngorongoro is a large volcanic caldera that is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to a huge variety of animals. As you descend into the crater there is the feeling of entering a truly special place. The landscape is a mixture of forest, lakes and wide-open plains that make it a perfect place for animal watching. Among the animals you can see here are black rhinoceros, lion, cheetah, hyena, jackal, hippos and many others. After a game drive you will have a picnic lunch at a site on the floor of the crater. After watching the sun set over these spectacular plains you will head back to your accommodation for the evening.
DAY 04: NGORONGORO CRATER TO SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
At the very dawn of the day, you will be driven from Ngorongoro to Central Serengeti. After the entrance to Serengeti National Park, we will start a game drive to enjoy the nature of the richest grazing grounds on the continent, and the home to the largest herds and the highest concentrations of predators on the planet. Apart from the world's renowned wonder of the great wildebeest migration, the great Serengeti has also a vast herd of grazers, huge prides of lion, spectacular expanses of uninterrupted views, wildebeest river crossings, great leopard sightings, good concentrations of cheetah.
DAY 05: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK FULL DAY GAME DRIVE
After a nice breakfast we will have a half day game drive you in the central part of the Serengeti National Park: Which is a UNESCO World Heritage Centre that is one of the most famous national parks in the world. The Serengeti is home to the migration of massive numbers of Wildebeest and Zebra as they move into Kenya’s Masai Mara. The Serengeti is considered to be the best place in the world to see the magical lion up close and you will also see a great range of other wildlife including the Spectacular Wildebeest Migration.
DAY 06&7: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
Today is very special day where you will have an opportunity to do a full day game drive in search for the migration locations. If the migration location will be far, they you will take a picnic lunch boxes from the camp. Expectations for the location is the fact that from middle of July to end of October is expected to be at the Northern part of Serengeti at Lobo area, Bologonja River, Sun River to Mara River where migration located to crossing the river. The area is very special and the big head of Migration crossing from begin of August to 20 of September up to October.
DAY 08: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK TO LAKE NATRON
On this day you will have a morning game drive from Serengeti Lobo Area end routing to Lake natron, on the way you will have more time to enjoy the best of the Serengeti while moving towards the lake side of the Natron. Then you will do impressive activities which includes Bird watch special lesser Flamingo and greater plus other different species of birds. Then, on sunset, we will move through mount Odongo Lengai Mountain.
DAY 09: LAKE NATRON TO ARUSHA
We will have a morning walking program with Maasai warriors at the Lake zone to Engaresero Village, where they practice an impressive culture and you will have a chance to walking to waterfalls together with our experienced guide, interacting with local people and visiting the amazing nature surrounding the local Maasai people. After the morning activities you will be driven to Arusha for the relaxation and prepare for the departure the following day.
Day 10: Departure 🛫
After a nice breakfast at the Hotel, we will transfer you to the Airport, depending on the flight time table. You will join your international Flight back home. End of Your Trip with Dikop Tours & Safaris
